Who we are

Collective Pour is all about the shared experience in opening up a bottle of wine. With our awareness pulled every which way we can lose sight of what's most important: time with the ones we love. In these private wine tasting experiences our aim is to build community through learning not only about what we’re sipping on but who we’re sipping with. Where better to foster this than from the comfort of your own home. So, we meet you where you’re at, literally and figuratively. We believe that wine is more than a beverage; it's a lens into culture, history, and so much more. Most importantly, it’s an invitation to slow down and savor the moment with one another. In this day and age there is no better time to share wine.

About Collective Pour

I first fell in love with wine for the communal aspect, its uncanny ability to bring people together. A customer told me one day “with a good bottle of wine, you can’t help but slow down and enjoy the moment with those around you.” Wine is one of the most suitable tools to bring people into the present moment, all five senses are firing from sight to smell. Moreover, wine is a lens into all facets of our lives: expressing culture & history while balancing art and science. In these curated in-home wine tastings Collective Pour fosters an environment to share stories and experiences with the ones you love.

Frequently asked questions

What is your cancelation policy?

Clients must cancel at least 48 hours before their scheduled appointment to avoid a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of service cost. If you need to cancel due to an illness, injury, or other unavoidable situation, please contact us. We will review the situation and may waive the cancellation fee on a case-by-case basis.

If you would like to cancel or have further questions please reach out to us via email collectivepourllc@gmail.com

What will we be bringing?

Every experience comes with wine glasses, wine bottles, associated wine region maps, and tasting mats and of course a certified sommelier.

For those looking for the full experience we offer chairs, tables, table cloths, table decor and cheese & charcuterie board as purchasable add-ons at checkout.

What set up do I need to do to best prepare?

The host is responsible for guests from invitation and to their punctuality. As a baseline make sure your guests are aware of the location, date & time booked for the event.

For best results please have a table(s) that would accommodate all guests with enough space for glasses and tasting mats to be set.

How long is the experience?

All tastings are allotted 2 ½ hours plus an additional 30 minutes to account for setup in most cases.

(Setup and breakdown may vary depending on party size-- checkout 'what is the cost breakdown for these experiences?)

What is your refund policy?

We understand things happen and life gets in the way, that's why we offer a full refund if booking is cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled event. If canceled 24 hours prior, then only a partial refund. There will be no refund if cancelled less than a 24 hours.

What is the cost breakdown for these experiences?

There are just two things you pay for: Hours of service & total bottle cost

cost is assessed only by two components– cost of bottles + an all inclusive service change (measured by the hour starting from setup and ends when the tasting concludes; $35/hr).

Variables and how they affect cost:

  • Quantity of people- if a party exceeds 9 people, then each wine poured will double to ensure everyone of your guest gets their proper portion. Hours of service start at arrival time, set up and end when the tasting finalizes.
  • Ex) Total time of services for a ground of 1-9 people is about 3 hours (30 min setup + 2 1/2 hrs tasting).
